Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (forklifts, jackhammers) with proper safety protocols
- Assist carpenters and masons with site preparation and cleanup
- Inspect and maintain tools/equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Adhere to OSHA standards and company safety procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex builds
- Document daily progress and material usage
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in extreme conditions
- Valid California driver's license
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for rotating night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screen
- Experience with blueprints and construction math
