Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate heavy machinery safely (excavators, forklifts, etc.) with proper certifications
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Maintain clean and organized job site throughout shift operations
- Collaborate with crew members to meet tight night shift deadlines
- Inspect and maintain equipment before/duty shifts
- Document daily progress and report any site hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Class B CDL license preferred (heavy machinery operation)
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Proven night shift availability and reliability
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material calculations
