Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing systems, including leaks, burst pipes, and clogs.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot water heaters, toilets, sinks, faucets, and drainage systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and building codes to ensure compliance.
- Perform routine maintenance checks to prevent system failures and ensure safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining technical issues in plain language and offering transparent estimates.
- Ensure all job sites are cleaned up and organized upon completion of the task.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Journeyman Plumber License in District of Columbia or Pennsylvania (or equivalent state certification).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of verifiable experience in commercial and residential plumbing.
- Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes, regulations, and safety practices.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment, stand for extended periods, and work in tight or confined spaces.
- Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license.
