Responsibilities
- Execute diverse construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, and concrete pouring
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts, jackhammers) with precision and safety
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure project specifications are met
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and comply with OSHA safety protocols
- Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and other trades to maintain workflow efficiency
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Assist in scaffolding setup and demolition activities
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction labor experience
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficiency with power tools and construction equipment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Basic blueprint reading ability
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
