Responsibilities
- Execute precise site preparation and excavation tasks
- Operate heavy equipment (excavators, forklifts) with OSHA certification
- Install and dismantle scaffolding, formwork, and temporary structures
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and site regulations
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and layout
- Perform daily equipment inspections and minor maintenance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless project execution
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Class B CDL license preferred (heavy equipment operation)
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and methods
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics
- Team player with excellent communication skills
