Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with construction tasks including demolition, excavation, and site preparation
- Safely operate hand/power tools (hammers, saws, drills) and equipment
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Perform general cleanup and debris removal to ensure project efficiency
- Read basic blueprints and follow supervisor instructions precisely
- Adapt to changing project needs and weather conditions
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Comfortable working in outdoor environments and extreme temperatures
