Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting materials, and operating hand tools
- Assist skilled tradespersons with site preparation and cleanup activities
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain organized work areas
- Load/un construction materials and equipment safely
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Operate light machinery like concrete mixers and power saws under supervision
- Complete daily timesheets and progress reports accurately
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shifts
- Willingness to work in outdoor conditions (heat, dust, etc.)
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Pass pre-employment background check
- OSHA 10 certification preferred but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings
