Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers, forklifts) with proper certifications
- Assist carpenters and masons with framing, concrete pouring, and finishing
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety protocols and environmental standards
- Perform equipment maintenance and daily site inspections
- Coordinate material deliveries and inventory management
- Maintain clean, organized work areas throughout all project phases
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-Hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and construction equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Pre-employment drug screening required
