Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in site preparation, including digging, grading, and clearing debris to ensure a safe working environment.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.
- Assist Trades: Provide support to carpenters, electricians, and masons by fetching supplies and performing basic tasks as directed.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under supervision to complete projects.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Quality Control: Help maintain high standards of workmanship by cleaning up work areas and ensuring materials are used correctly.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, trustworthy, and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
- Experience: Prior construction or labor experience is preferred, but training is provided for motivated candidates.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required for site transportation.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with team leaders and other workers.
