Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with daily on-site tasks, including carpentry, electrical, and plumbing support.
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks using forklifts or hand trucks.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary workspaces.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
- Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under supervision.
- Perform general cleanup and maintenance of the job site to maintain a professional appearance.
- Measure, cut, and handle lumber and other building materials accurately.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid ID.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the day.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices is preferred but not required.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform manual labor.
