Responsibilities
- Excavate, lift, and move construction materials safely
- Operate hand/power tools (drills, saws, jackhammers)
- Assist carpenters and masons with site prep
- Follow OSHA safety protocols rigorously
- Read blueprints and execute instructions
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Report hazards to site supervisors
- Complete daily equipment maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Pass pre-employment drug screen
- Flexible availability (weekends/overnights)
- Basic math and measurement skills
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Steel-toe boots and hard hat (provided)
- NYC construction license preferred
