Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling, equipment operation, and site preparation
- Follow blueprints and safety protocols to ensure project specifications are met
- Maintain clean and organized job sites to prevent hazards and delays
- Operate hand/power tools and construction machinery under supervision
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, and debris removal
- Collaborate with crew members to maintain workflow efficiency
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns immediately
Qualifications
- 1+ years of construction or general labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and work in all weather conditions
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions precisely
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
