Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites as directed.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by digging, leveling, and clearing debris to ensure a safe working environment.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under supervision (e.g., skid steers, compactors, drills).
- Assembly & Demolition: Help with the assembly of structures and basic demolition tasks, ensuring all work meets quality standards.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards in compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Assistance: Provide support to skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not required; we will train the right candidate.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Tools: Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety equipment is a plus.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly and effectively.
- Teamwork: Must be a self-starter who works well within a team structure.
