Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up safety barriers.
- Material Handling: Lift, carry, and transport heavy construction materials and tools safely to and from work areas.
- Equipment Support: Operate and maintain basic construction equipment such as forklifts, jackhammers, and generators under direct supervision.
- Trades Assistance: Provide hands-on support to carpenters, electricians, and other skilled tradespeople.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized job site by sweeping, shoveling, and removing waste materials daily.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret basic blueprints and site plans to understand project requirements and layout.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods, including lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends and potential overtime.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction labor is a plus, but training is provided for motivated candidates.
- License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Communication: Basic English communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Tools: Own basic hand tools (optional but preferred).
