Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling, site preparation, and tool management
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) with proper safety certifications
- Demolish structures and clear debris using OSHA-approved methods
- Read blueprints and follow supervisor instructions for precise task execution
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and implement erosion control measures
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to strict safety protocols including fall protection and PPE usage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification (training provided)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Experience with power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
