Responsibilities
- Load and unload: Transport building materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Site Support: Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including digging, carrying, and setting up scaffolding.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Equipment Assistance: Operate basic construction machinery and tools under close supervision.
- Communication: Clearly communicate with site supervisors and team members to ensure project goals are met.
- Heavy Lifting: Perform physical labor tasks, including lifting heavy objects up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work a full-time schedule.
- Transportation: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Attitude: A positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn are essential.
- Experience: No prior construction experience required.
