Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by digging, grading, and clearing debris.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials using hand trucks, forklifts, or other equipment.
- Assist Trades: Provide support to carpenters, electricians, and masons by holding materials, cleaning work areas, and performing basic tasks.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance of tools and machinery to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Quality Control: Help ensure all work meets project specifications and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must have a consistent work history and be punctual.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Equipment Experience: Experience with power tools, jackhammers, or skid steers is a plus but not required.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends or evenings if needed.
