Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized job sites with proper debris removal and waste management
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Read basic blueprints and site plans to execute tasks accurately
- Set up/break down temporary structures, scaffolding, and safety barriers
- Report hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately to supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years old with valid photo ID
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Milwaukee County
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
