Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople in site preparation, excavation, and foundation work
- Safely operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws)
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Perform cleanup and debris removal to maintain project efficiency
- Read blueprints and technical instructions to execute tasks accurately
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or related labor experience preferred
- Valid Texas Driver's License and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with consistent attendance
- Ability to pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Fluent English communication skills (bilingual Spanish a plus)
