Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to blueprints and safety codes.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, or needed repairs.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure longevity and safety.
- Ensure that all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.
- Document all work performed and report on project status to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in the state of Arizona.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, blueprints, and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
- Physical stamina to work in various conditions, including attics, crawl spaces, and outdoors.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
