Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Prepare job sites by gathering necessary tools, materials, and safety equipment.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including pulling wire through conduits and connecting outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
- Test electrical components to ensure compliance with safety standards and local codes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Transport equipment and materials to and from job sites as required.
Qualifications
- No prior experience or licensure is required; we provide comprehensive training.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and material calculations.
- Strong willingness to learn, follow instructions, and work effectively in a team setting.
