Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial buildings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with NYC Electrical Code and OSHA safety standards
- Diagnose electrical faults using diagnostic tools and testing equipment
- Supervise apprentices and junior electricians on complex projects
- Coordinate with contractors, clients, and building management
- Document project progress and maintain accurate work records
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Electrician License (required)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency with conduit bending, wiring, and circuit installation
- Strong knowledge of NEC, NYC Electrical Code, and local regulations
- OSHA 10/30 certification preferred
- Experience with PLC systems and smart home technology
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights
