Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and building specifications
- Ensure compliance with national electrical codes and safety regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Collaborate with contractors and clients to project specifications and timelines
- Manage inventory and order necessary electrical materials and supplies
- Train junior electricians and supervise apprenticeship programs
Qualifications
- Valid Wisconsin Electrician Journeyman License (required)
- Minimum 3+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Proficiency in reading schematics and using diagnostic tools
- Strong problem-solving and time-management skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
