Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/residential settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Supervise junior electricians and coordinate with construction teams
- Complete detailed documentation and safety reports
- Conduct system inspections and preventative maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Electrician Journeyman License (required)
- 3+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local building regulations
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Pass background check and drug screening
