Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications for complex projects
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools and troubleshooting methodologies
- Supervise junior electricians and coordinate with other trade professionals
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and workplace standards
- Manage inventory and equipment maintenance for assigned projects
- Provide exceptional client communication and project documentation
Qualifications
- Valid New Mexico Journeyman or Master Electrician license
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proven expertise with PLC systems, VFDs, and industrial controls
- Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and local building codes
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Clean driving record and valid Class C driver's license
- Proficiency with Fluke meters and diagnostic software
