Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Coordinate with contractors, clients, and team members for seamless project execution
- Train apprentices on safety protocols and best practices
- Document work orders and maintain accurate project records
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina electrician license (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong understanding of NEC codes and safety standards
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
