Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/industrial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure strict compliance with NEC and local electrical codes
- Diagnose complex electrical failures using advanced diagnostic tools
- Lead high-voltage projects and manage junior electricians
- Implement safety protocols and conduct site inspections
- Collaborate with engineers and construction teams
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois Journeyman or Master Electrician license
- 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Expertise in PLC systems, VFDs, and power distribution
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Strong proficiency with testing equipment (multimeters, meggers)
- Proven project management skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
