Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including digging, lifting materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled tradesmen with site preparation and cleanup
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain organized work areas
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws) with proper training
- Complete daily task reports and communicate progress to supervisors
- Adapt to changing project schedules and weather conditions
Qualifications
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic tool knowledge (hammers, saws, shovels, etc.)
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (training provided)
- Availability for night shifts (5 PM - 3 AM)
- Willingness to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Team player with strong work ethic
- Construction experience preferred but not required
