Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and outlets.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installations.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently and safely.
- Erect and dismantle temporary wiring for construction projects as needed.
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and company quality requirements.
- Communicate effectively with clients and project managers regarding progress and any issues.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and hand tools.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments, including attics, crawl spaces, and heights.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
