Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment in compliance with NEC and Chicago building codes
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Supervise junior electricians and coordinate project timelines with contractors
- Ensure OSHA safety protocols are strictly followed on all job sites
- Manage inventory and order electrical materials for assigned projects
- Provide exceptional client communication and service documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois Journeyman or Master Electrician license (required)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proven expertise in conduit bending, circuit installation, and power distribution
- Familiarity with energy-efficient systems and smart home technology
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in high-pressure environments
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
