Job Summary
We are looking for individuals who are physically fit and eager to learn. Whether you have years of experience or are looking to break into the trade, we provide on-the-job training to help you succeed on the night shift.
Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures and barriers.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute heavy construction materials (bricks, lumber, concrete, steel) from trucks to the work site using hand tools and basic equipment.
- Trade Support: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) by performing necessary tasks to ensure project progress and quality.
- Machinery Operation: Safely operate basic heavy machinery and power tools, including forklifts, skid steers, and generators (certification provided upon hire).
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety regulations, company protocols, and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards throughout the shift to ensure a safe environment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not required for the right attitude.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM or rotating shifts).
- Tools: Basic knowledge of hand tools (hammers, drills, levels) and willingness to use them.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record required.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors effectively.
