Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings during night shifts
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Perform diagnostic troubleshooting of complex electrical faults and power distribution issues
- Ensure strict adherence to NEC codes, safety protocols, and company procedures
- Lead emergency response teams for critical power outages and system failures
- Maintain detailed service logs and documentation for compliance tracking
- Collaborate with day-shift teams for seamless system transitions
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial electrical experience with night shift preference
- Valid Texas Electrician License (Journeyman or Master)
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Expertise in troubleshooting 120V-480V systems and variable frequency drives
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure emergency situations
- Strong knowledge of NEC updates and local Austin electrical codes
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record for company vehicle operation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces at elevated heights
