Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/industrial facilities
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting on complex electrical circuits
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local electrical codes
- Conduct preventative maintenance on transformers, switchgear, and control systems
- Document work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records
- Coordinate with day shift teams for seamless operations handover
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid Louisiana Electrician Journeyman license
- Proven expertise with 3-phase systems and power distribution
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Strong diagnostic skills for troubleshooting complex malfunctions
- Ability to work independently in minimal supervision environments
- Flexibility to work rotating night shift schedule (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
