Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and skilled trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand tools and power equipment under supervision
- Perform debris removal, site cleanup, and safety perimeter maintenance
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain organized work areas
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
- Complete daily equipment checks and report maintenance issues
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and work independently
- Flexible availability (mornings, afternoons, weekends)
- Prefer 6+ months of construction or landscaping experience
