Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators with material handling
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Operate basic tools (shovels, wheelbarrows, jackhammers) under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to meet safety standards
- Load/unload materials and equipment at job sites
- Follow verbal instructions from site supervisors precisely
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Comfortable working in outdoor weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Punctual with consistent attendance record
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background check
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours per day
