Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment using proper lifting techniques
- Operate basic hand/power tools under supervision (hammers, saws, drills)
- Maintain clean and organized job sites to meet safety standards
- Support skilled trades with material handling and task completion
- Follow project plans and supervisor instructions precisely
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
Qualifications
- Must be physically capable of lifting 50+ pounds and standing for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols (OSHA 10 certification preferred)
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and outdoor environments
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with minimal supervision
- Willingness to pass mandatory background check and drug screening
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
