Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation including material handling and cleanup
- Operate basic hand/power tools under supervision
- Perform physical tasks like digging, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and carrying materials
- Maintain organized job sites and adhere to safety protocols
- Support carpenters, masons, and other trades as needed
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Report safety hazards and project progress to supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
