Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with site preparation, excavation, and material handling
- Operate basic hand tools (shovels, hammers, saws) and light machinery under supervision
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Read simple blueprints and follow verbal instructions from supervisors
- Perform general cleanup and debris removal at project sites
- Adapt to diverse weather conditions and physical work environments
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – entry-level welcome!
- Must be 18+ years old and eligible to work in the US
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver’s license preferred (not required)
- Reliable transportation to job sites in Omaha/TX areas
- Basic math skills for measurements and material counts
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Willingness to pass pre-employment background check
