Responsibilities
- Execute physical labor tasks including excavation, demolition, material handling, and equipment operation
- Assist skilled tradespeople with carpentry, masonry, and concrete work
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA safety protocols
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts)
- Read blueprints and project specifications to ensure accurate task completion
- Transport materials using wheelbarrows, carts, and other manual methods
- Participate in daily site briefings and progress updates
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or equivalent physical work background
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
- Strong teamwork ethic and clear communication abilities
- Flexibility to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
