Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including excavation, demolition, material handling, and site cleanup
- Operate basic construction equipment safely (e.g., jackhammers, saws, drills)
- Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions for project execution
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to safety protocols
- Assist skilled trades (carpenters, electricians) with material preparation
- Complete daily equipment maintenance checks and reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor or related experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to safety and detail-oriented mindset
- Basic hand/power tool proficiency
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
