Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by clearing debris, erecting barriers, and setting up temporary work areas.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist Tradespeople: Provide support to carpenters, electricians, and plumbers by fetching tools, holding materials, and performing basic tasks.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools under supervision (e.g., forklifts, jackhammers, saws).
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret basic site plans and follow verbal instructions from supervisors.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not required (training provided).
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Communication: Strong ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Safety Mindset: Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and adherence to protocols.
