Responsibilities
- Execute physical construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools (jackhammers, saws, drills) under supervisor guidance
- Assist skilled tradespeople in carpentry, masonry, and concrete work
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and job site cleanliness
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate project implementation
- Transport materials and equipment using forklifts or manual methods
- Document daily progress and report equipment maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience or trade school certification
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction safety certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory control
- Class B driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficiency with common hand/power tools
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Spanish language skills preferred for diverse team collaboration
