Responsibilities
- Perform site preparation tasks including material handling, debris removal, and equipment setup
- Assist skilled trades (carpenters, masons, electricians) with material delivery and basic support
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work environments
- Operate hand/power tools under supervision (drills, saws, jackhammers)
- Read basic blueprints and interpret verbal instructions from site supervisors
- Adhere to project timelines and communicate progress to team leads
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Weekend availability (Saturdays & Sundays, 6am-4pm)
- Basic tool knowledge (hammers, tape measures, shovels)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
