Responsibilities
- Assist in various phases of construction including framing, drywall, and concrete work.
- Load and unload building materials from trucks and organize job sites efficiently.
- Operate basic construction equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and compressors.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety standards.
- Follow instructions from foremen and skilled tradespeople to ensure project goals are met.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous construction labor experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Willingness to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and flexible hours.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Commitment to safety and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
