Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in the preparation and setup of construction sites, including laying out materials and marking work areas.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using hand trucks, forklifts, or other equipment.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and power tools safely under supervision.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by removing debris and waste at the end of each shift.
- Assistance: Provide general assistance to skilled tradespeople, including digging, hauling, and performing basic carpentry tasks as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) and standing on feet for long durations.
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates with a strong work ethic.
- Tools: Basic understanding of hand and power tools is preferred.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Attire: Willingness to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and steel-toed boots.
