Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and supplies efficiently.
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery safely under supervision.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various on-site tasks, including framing, drywalling, and painting support.
- Perform site preparation duties, such as digging, leveling, and debris removal.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe environment for the entire crew.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the Site Supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and rotate shifts as needed.
- Basic math skills for measuring materials and calculating quantities.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Experience with construction tools is a plus, but on-the-job training is provided.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
