Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in clearing, cleaning, and preparing construction sites for daily operations.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic machinery and power tools under supervision to support the project workflow.
- Assistance: Provide labor support to journeyman electricians, plumbers, and carpenters as needed.
- Site Cleanup: Ensure work areas are kept clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations at the end of each shift.
- Transportation: Transport materials between job sites or storage areas using company vehicles.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not required; training is provided.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to stand, walk, lift, carry, and push heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Driver’s License: Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record required.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Safety: Basic understanding of safety protocols and willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
