Responsibilities
- Assist Tradespeople: Provide hands-on support to carpenters, electricians, and other skilled professionals on-site.
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools with precision and care.
- Site Prep: Prepare job sites by digging, grading, and setting up scaffolding or temporary structures.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Task Completion: Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the Site Supervisor to ensure project deadlines are met.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) for extended periods.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record required.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday).
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Safety Mindset: Strong understanding of basic construction safety rules and regulations.
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly with team members and supervisors.
