Location: Portland, OR
Shift: Weekend (Saturday & Sunday)
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including cleaning and setting up work areas.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Operate basic construction machinery and power tools safely under supervision.
- Support skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters and electricians, with daily tasks.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific protocols strictly.
- Ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as required.
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures and construction terminology.
