Responsibilities
- Perform general construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and site cleanup.
- Assist project managers and skilled tradespeople with framing, drywall installation, and concrete finishing.
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work orders.
- Load and unload construction materials from trucks and distribute them to work areas.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately to supervision.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in construction or general labor is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physical labor for long periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs).
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation to the job site.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols.
